It’s no secret that I love smoothies. I mean, they’re delicious and healthy at the same time, so what’s not to love? Today, I’m going to share the recipe of one of my current favourites – the honey banana smoothie.
There are smoothie recipes out there with a huge list of ingredients, but this is not one of them. Sometimes, I just want to keep it simple. And this one is just that. It’s very, very easy to prepare and only requires five ingredients, all of which are very nutritious. You’ll just love the flavour – it’s light and has a touch of sweetness, not too much but the perfect amount. The natural yogurt gives it the most amazing creamy texture and the protein helps keep you full for longer. This is great as a snack or an on-the-go breakfast. Here’s how to make it:
- 1 cup non-fat natural yogurt
- 1 banana
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- pinch of cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy!
