Green smoothies are loaded with antioxidants and vitamins, so drinking them regularly has heaps of health benefits. They nourish your body, boost your energy and strengthen your immune system to name a few. In addition, they’re amazing for your skin, hair and nails. As smoothies are so quick and easy to make, they’re the perfect way to get more fruit and veg into your body.

And guess what? Green smoothies can taste delicious too! I’ve tried a few awful-tasting green smoothies in the past, but this one is absolutely delicious. Seriously – it’s so good! Despite the spinach this recipe contains, you can’t taste it at all due to the sweetness of the fruit. So if you’re new to green smoothies and want to give them a go, then this is an amazing one to try. Here’s the tasty, green smoothie recipe:

A delicious green smoothie recipe.
Ingredients
  • 285ml coconut water
  • ½ cup pineapple (cut into chunks)
  • ½ cup mango (cut into chunks)
  • 1 banana (sliced)
  • 4-5 handfuls spinach
  • 1 drop vanilla essence (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place the pineapple, mango, banana and spinach into the blender. Next, pour in the coconut water.
  2. Cover and blend until smooth.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
